Shape the future of Eloquent.
We're recruiting 6 paid young advisors to join the Eloquent Youth Board Collective (EYBC).
If you're passionate about arts, dance, and culture, and you believe young people should have a real seat at the table, this is your opportunity to make that happen.
As a member of the EYBC, you'll help shape the direction, decisions, and future of Eloquent from the inside.

About the EYBC
Eloquent sits at the intersection of dance, creativity, faith, and community, developing young people and delivering cultural experiences across Birmingham and beyond. The Eloquent Youth Board Collective brings together a small group of young creatives to ensure the voices of the people we serve are at the heart of every decision we make. As a Youth Board Collective member, you will:
Influence organisational strategy and programming decisions
Represent the young people Eloquent serves, bringing their perspective into the room
Advise on Eloquent's programmes, events, and artistic direction
Work directly with the leadership team on projects and campaigns
Represent young people's voices in conversations around funding and partnerships
Co-create opportunities that reflect your community
Build your own leadership, advocacy, and governance skills
This is a paid role. Your time, experience, and perspective are valued always.

The Role
12 to 24 months, with the option to continue
One meeting per quarter, online and in person
Flexible scheduling, we work around you
Travel and expenses covered for in-person sessions
Only 6 places available. This is an intimate collective.

Are passionate about arts, dance, or culture in their community
Care about young people having a real voice in decisions
Want to develop their leadership and speak up for their generation
