Since joining Eloquent 4 years ago, Gabe has excelled in his creativity , confidence & leadership.Gabe stepped up as one of our Youth Board members, using his voice and influence to represent young people and help shape the future of EloquentHe also started podcasting developing a passion for storytelling and content.After a successful 2years at BOA Stage & Screen, Gabe is now heading to University in Manchester to study Media and Sports Journalism – a perfect match for his creativity and passion for football. He’s a visionary in the making, and we know his future is bright.These two remind us exactly why we do what we do...

MAKEIA:
At just 12 years old, Makeia walked through the doors of Eloquent Dance, passionate, and full of potential. Over the last six transformative years, she’s become the definition of what it means to be Eloquent... disciplined, purpose-led, creatively excellent, and unapologetic in her approach
Makeia hasn’t just trained with us. She’s grown with us and what a journey it’s been- She joined the Eloquent Youth Board, becoming a voice for change, equity, and youth leadership within our organisation. She performed in both of our professional company showcases as a pro dancer - Torch of Excellence in 2023 and 2024, sharing the stage with other professional artists and delivering standout performances.She booked an ITV gig and danced on national television.
The following year, she performed at the Paralympic Games, once again appearing on national TV, solidifying her presence on the biggest stages.
In 2024, she took the stage at Glastonbury Festival, adding another iconic performance to her ever-growing CV.But her success hasn’t only been on stage. Through our in-house talent agency, Eloquent Talent, Makeia has accessed a plethora of paid dance work, gaining real-world industry experience while still a student. She’s even stepped into leadership, teaching dance in primary schools through our outreach programmes inspiring the next generation of talent.And now, she’s taking her next big leap:Heading to SHOCKOUT in Manchester to study Commercial and Hip Hop Dance at university for the next 3 years!She embodies the mission of Eloquent: to raise purpose-driven creatives and equip leaders who walk boldly in their calling. Makeia we are SO proud of you.Your journey is just beginning, FLY HIGH and continue to SOAR.
ALAYNA:
A True Eloquent original, Alayna has been with us since she was just 7 years old. Over the past decade, we’ve watched her transform into a powerful performer, a confident leader, and a true role model within our Eloquent community.Landing her first professional panto theatre show last year with BOA GROUP. Being cast in a recent Ballet project under Eloquent TalentBecoming an assistant teacher at our Walsall branch, inspiring younger dancers & Performing in countless showcases, events, and creative projects.
Massive congratulations on your Triple Distinction in Performing Arts Laynee!
Now, she’s off to university to further her studies in the creative industries! Her legacy at Eloquent is deep, and we can’t wait to see what she builds next!
